Overview
ViralScript Labs develops and publishes mobile applications, including Wejhaty, Routiq, and WeaCast. This policy describes the information that may be processed when you use those apps and the purposes for which it is used.
Each app is designed to work primarily with information you provide or generate while using its features. Where information can be kept on your device, we aim to keep it there rather than sending it to our own servers.
Important: The exact permissions and third-party services used by an app can change as features are added or updated. The app-specific sections below describe the intended data practices for the current versions of Wejhaty, Routiq, and WeaCast.
Wejhaty
Wejhaty is a travel and road-trip companion. It can use information needed to provide travel planning, route, weather, prayer-time, expense, and trip-memory features.
Depending on the features you use, Wejhaty may process:
- Location data — if you grant location access, the app may use your approximate or precise device location to determine your position, support location-based travel features, and provide relevant route or destination information.
- Trip and route information — destinations, routes, travel details, expenses, preferences, and other information you enter or save in the app.
- Photos you choose — if the app provides trip-memory photo features, photos are used for the feature you requested. We do not require access to your entire photo library.
- Device and app information — information that may be made available by Android or third-party services, such as device type, operating-system information, app version, language, diagnostics, and advertising-related identifiers.
Wejhaty does not require you to create an account for its core functionality. Information used for trip planning and memories may be stored locally on your device. We do not operate a personal cloud-sync service for your Wejhaty trip data.
Wejhaty may use advertising and Google Play services where enabled. Advertising providers may process device and usage information according to their own policies and the choices available on your device.
Routiq
Routiq is a smart routines and alarms app. Its main purpose is to help you create routines, schedule alarms, and guide you through daily activities.
Routiq may process the following information locally on your device:
- Routine information — goals, routine names, steps, schedules, durations, priorities, preferences, and progress information that you create or generate in the app.
- Alarm information — alarm times, repeat days, alarm type, challenge settings, vibration settings, and other alarm preferences.
- Custom audio — if you choose your own music or audio for an alarm, Routiq may store a local reference to the selected file so it can play that audio. Routiq does not need to upload that file to our servers.
- Motion sensor data — only when you use a feature such as the Shake Challenge. This is used to detect the required movement for that challenge and is not intended to identify you.
- Device and app information — information needed by Android and any enabled third-party services, such as device type, operating-system information, app version, diagnostics, and advertising-related identifiers.
Routiq is designed as a local-first app. Routine and alarm information is intended to remain on your device rather than being uploaded to a ViralScript Labs account or cloud database. Routiq does not require an account for its core features.
Routiq uses Android notification and alarm functionality to deliver reminders and alarms. Some alarm features may require system permissions such as notifications, exact alarms, or full-screen alarm access. You control these permissions through Android settings.
If advertising or paid features are enabled in your version of Routiq, the relevant third-party providers may process information as described in the Third-Party Services section.
WeaCast
WeaCast is a weather application designed to provide current weather conditions, forecasts, and other weather-related information for locations you choose or, when permitted, your current location.
Depending on the features you use, WeaCast may process:
- Location data — if you grant location access, WeaCast may use your approximate or precise device location to show weather information and forecasts relevant to your current area.
- Locations you choose — cities, regions, or other locations that you search for, select, or save in the app so weather information can be displayed for those places.
- Weather requests and app preferences — settings such as preferred units, saved locations, and other choices needed to provide and personalize weather features.
- Device and app information — information that may be made available by Android or enabled third-party services, such as device type, operating-system information, app version, language, diagnostics, and advertising-related identifiers.
WeaCast does not require you to create an account for its core weather functionality. App preferences and saved locations may be stored locally on your device.
To provide weather information, WeaCast may send a location or location identifier needed for the requested forecast to a weather-data provider. If advertising or paid features are enabled, the relevant third-party providers may also process information as described in the Third-Party Services section.
App Permissions
Permissions depend on the app and the features you choose to use. You can deny or revoke permissions through your device settings, although doing so may prevent related features from working.
- Location — used by Wejhaty for supported location-based travel features and by WeaCast when you choose to use current-location weather features.
- Photos and media — used only when you choose to select or attach media for a supported feature. Where available, the system photo picker may be used instead of broad library access.
- Notifications — used to deliver reminders, trip notifications, Routiq alarms, and supported WeaCast weather notifications or alerts when enabled.
- Alarms / exact alarms — Routiq may request the Android capability needed to schedule alarms at their intended times, subject to Android's rules and your device settings.
- Full-screen alarm access — Routiq may use Android's supported full-screen alarm experience for an active alarm where permitted by the operating system and device.
- Vibration — used by Routiq alarms when vibration is enabled.
- Motion sensors — used by Routiq only for motion-based challenges such as Shake Challenge.
Third-Party Services
We may rely on third-party platforms to distribute apps, process purchases, show advertisements, provide platform functionality, or diagnose technical problems. These providers may process information under their own privacy policies.
- Google Play Services / Google Play — app distribution, platform services, licensing, and, where applicable, in-app purchases or subscriptions.
- Google AdMob — may be used for advertising. When enabled, Google may process information such as device identifiers, app interactions, and other signals used for advertising and measurement, subject to Google's policies and your available advertising controls.
We do not claim ownership of information processed by third-party providers. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information to service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, advertise, distribute, or improve an app, or when required by law. Information that stays locally on your device is not automatically transmitted to ViralScript Labs.
We may also disclose information when necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or users, investigate abuse or security incidents, or respond to a valid legal request.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by our apps and services. Local app data is protected by the security mechanisms provided by your operating system and device. Information transmitted by third-party services is subject to the security practices of those providers.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot promise absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children under 13. We do not knowingly request or collect personal information from children under 13 for our own purposes.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us. If we become aware of such information being held by us, we will take reasonable steps to address it.
Your Choices
- You can choose whether to grant optional device permissions.
- You can disable notifications and other supported permissions through your device settings.
- You can remove locally stored app data by using the app's available delete/reset controls or Android's app-data settings. Uninstalling an app may also remove its local data, depending on your device and backup settings.
- You can manage advertising choices through the controls provided by your device and applicable Google services.
If you contact us about privacy, please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, government identification, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our apps, services, or legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may also provide an additional notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of an app after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to your use of that app, subject to applicable law.
